This kid is absolutely amazing!!! Most people will need years of professional training in order to learn to sing the Blues or Gospel music. But, if you have a young child that demonstrates the remarkable ability shown in this video, they can be described as a very talented. However, students are usually defined as “talented” if they have remarkable abilities in the visual or performing arts. But, some children are talented in these areas, but do not excel academically in other subjects. These children are also gifted in a particular academic area, such as math. Some of these gifted students may also have a learning disability or special need in other areas.

If you have a child that you believe is talented or gifted, help him/her to develop that talent, and reach their full potential.

Tips to help children fulfill their potential:

Provide a variety of experiences geared to your child’s interests.

Encourage your child to tell you his ideas.

Permit ample time for thinking and daydreaming.

Encourage your child to translate her interests into stories, pictures, collections and inventions.

Accept and use her tendency to see things differently.

Do not be anxious about single-mindedness.

Ask your child as many questions as she asks you.

Ask the teacher to allow your child to move through the curriculum at a pace that accommodates his knowledge level.

Niche marketing is considered by many successful Internet marketers as a surefire way to create a good income online. Niche marketing is about finding a segment of a general market and then developing a solution that caters to the specific needs of that segment.

Creating a website around your niche is part of an effective niche marketing plan. Your site should focus on a specific topic and provide products or services that accommodate the customer’s needs. Below are some tips on how you can create a website to attract your selected market.

Building Your Niche Website

Choosing the right niche is critical to the success of your online business. You need to thoroughly research what people are searching for and buying. Make sure that the niche you choose is highly popular yet has relatively low competition. The larger the competition, the more difficult it is to rank high in search engines. On the other hand, if there is no competition at all, there may be no buyers.

There are online tools that will help you find profitable niches to target. Free keyword suggestion tools, such as Google AdWords Keyword tool and Wordtracker, will help you pinpoint the most popular keywords people search for. They also show the competitiveness of a keyword. The best niches will have a strong demand yet not too many competing websites. You will have higher chances of establishing a strong presence in that particular market.

Buying a hosting service from a web hosting provider is also an important point to consideration. There are free sites you can use to market your products or services but if you don’t own the site, there is always the risk of losing it.

The most popular hosting provider in the Internet marketing world is Hostgator. Another one I can recommend is HostMonster. Once you have selected a hosting provider, you will need to choose a domain name that relates to your niche.

Now that you have your hosting account set up, you need to consider what kind of a website you want. Do you want to have a regular HTML website, or do you want to have a dynamic, content management type of website? And, if you choose the latter – which I would recommend – what platform should you use to build on?

If I go into too much detail here, it’s going to send your head spinning, so to make things easier, I’m going to focus on the easiest, quickest and most popular platform, WordPress.

But isn’t WordPress for blogs?

Well, yes and no. It originally started out as a platform specifically for blogs, but in recent years it has evolved into a versatile and highly search engine friendly platform that can be used as a content management system, or CMS, as well.

It’s super easy to install, and the admin back-office is 100% newbie-friendly, which makes it ideal for new home business owners. The premium WordPress themes available at ThemesPeak, for example, even has extra search engine optimization built into the themes, so you don’t have to bother with that. With premium functionality, these themes focus on specific niches, so all the research has already been done for you. All you need to do is get it online.

The content in your website should contain the most effective keywords to target your niche. Offer interesting and useful information about your products. Write product reviews, purchasing guides and other useful content. You should have content that will engage your readers and convert them into buyers. The layout and visuals of your website should also appeal to your niche.

Another thing to consider when building your website is the kind of products you will be offering your customers. Affiliate products are highly popular because of their availability and they are generally easy to market. Needless to say, having your own product is the best strategy for long-term results, but this can come later on when you’re a little more settled in your business.

Once you’ve set up your products and content, you are ready to advertise your website. There are many ways you can promote your website. You can go for paid advertising. You can also use free advertising methods such as article marketing and social media marketing. You can create a link-building campaign to bring in more visitors to your site via forum marketing.

The key to success on the Internet, as in any business for that matter, is perseverence. As Jim Rohn once said, “Success is neither magical or mysterious. Success is the natural consequence of consistently applying the basic fundamentals.”

The Main Essentials For The Beach

Hanging out on the beach all day can be fun as long as you carry the right gear. But, without the right gear, it can be anything but a day at the beach.

Before you pile in the car, think ahead and prepare your items. Big beach totes are perfect for storing and sorting your beach items. So, we’ll start our list of essentials with the first thing you need to have before you head out for fun in the sun; a beach bag or tote.

Beach tote and hauling stuff from the car to the beach is work, and without the right tote you’ll get irritated quickly. Your beach totes should be water resistant with lots of compartments. Don’t spend a lot of money on one or carry a tote that has any real dollar or sentimental value as it will get some rough wear and tear. Buy several and expect them to get cruddy fast.

Sunscreen and sunblock is a must be sure to use a sunscreen with a very high SPF on your face, neck, ears, scalp, shoulders, and your lips. Babies require special care so buy sun protection lotions that are made specifically for them. Store your selection of sunscreen products in your beach tote throughout the summer, but these products do expire. Refurbishing your sunscreen supply each year is recommended, especially if you store them in a hot area.

If possible bring a large beach umbrella because you’ll want a place to get out of the hot rays of the sun for a bit. You’ll also want to provide children with a place to nap or play quietly. Spending the hottest part of the day under an umbrella will keep you refreshed and cool so you can enjoy a long day at the beach. Spending all day in the bright sunshine may sound like heaven, but after a few hours you will welcome a little shady retreat.

Sunglasses. You will need to protect your eyes with good sunglasses that provide both UVA and UVB protection. Choose inexpensive sunglasses that you can keep in your beach tote, sunglasses you won’t feel bad losing, and you will lose them. Wear your sunglasses when you’re floating or wading in the water. The water’s reflection is intense and can easily burn the delicate skin around your eyes if not protected.

Even when you’re lying in the sand on your belly, the reflection of the sun off the sand is enough to burn your eyes.

Lots and lots of water When you are having fun, you forget how fast you can become dehydrated. Drinking lots of water throughout the day solves this problem. Don’t wait until you feel thirsty to take a drink. Plan to drink about 16 ounces of water every hour. Taking a break from the sun by sitting under your umbrella for at least ten minutes each hour will help your body keep cool and hydrated, possibly preventing heat stroke in the process.

Cooler. A full day at the beach requires water, yes, but it also requires food. You’ll need to replenish your energy throughout the day with fruit, cheese, nuts, and other food to keep you feeling good. Kids, especially, will need energy-boosting foods all day long. Plan ahead to bring nutritious goodies so no one goes hungry.

Beach towels. This one may seem like a no-brainer, but the idea here is that you need more than one beach towel for each person. Beach towels come in handy at the beach for more than just drying off. They make great pillows, blankets, and tables. You’ll never be sorry you have a lot of nice thick beach towels with you at the beach.

Watertight bag. Putting your keys, money, drivers license, credit cards, phone, or whatever you happen to have with you in a watertight bag just makes sense. You are going to be playing by water and something is bound to happen sometime. I guarantee Better safe than sorry.

When you hit the beach for the day, you want to have everything you need handy. A couple beach totes, an umbrella, and a cooler full of refreshing drinks and snacks will get you well on your way to a perfect day at the beach.

Start Educational Video Games at an Early Age

Kids these days are more computer savvy than they have ever been. As early as kindergarten they are in the computer labs at school learning how to use a keyboard. With this trend it won’t be long before younger and younger kids begin to play videogames at home on a regular basis. Feed those brain cells with fun games that are also educational.

How do they remember which button moves what in those games? However they do it, it’s easier for a child to learn than an adult. Show them how to use video games to take their education to an all new level.

Start with the PC games. Companies like Leapfrog and Knowledge Adventure have put educational games on the market that are anything but boring. Knowledge Adventure produces JumpStart games for each grade level. They are PC video games that teach kids all about math, science and English through games that interest your kids. The characters in the game talk to them and help them with number problems that need to be solved along the way to win.

Kids are given the chance to learn about the world around them through educational video games. Kids get an opportunity to expand their understanding of animals, plants, science and more. An entirely new world will open up before them on the computer monitor. The games have continuous action and you can play as many times as you need to in order to win. Teaching kids about video games at an early age helps you to control what types of games they watch. In the world of technology, kids grow up way to soon and often know more (about technology) than their parents. Starting early gets you involved and keep you involved in their lives. Some people believe that playing video games is a mind-numbing process. All you do is sit and shoot. With the Leapster, from Leapfrog, kids can take their portable gaming system with them and play educational video games on long car trips, on the plane ride or anytime they need something to do. Leapster uses a stylus pen so it is easier for kids mark their answers on the game screen. The characters sing songs that you can learn along with your kids. V-Tech has come out with a gaming console for kids to play educational games through the television set.

Kids learn their alphabet, phonics and things like colors and shapes with fun games. Educational video games help to reinforce what is being taught at school. As kids master the games and get smarter their self-confidence will rise.

Swimwear Trends For 2011

Its getting hot, so have you started looking for that perfect swimsuit this season? Before you go out and shop, look at what designers are saying are the best looks for the summer of 2011.

You may not be able to afford what the models are wearing on the catwalk in Milan, but you can find swimwear that comes a close second in major department stores and specialty swimwear shops. Let’s take a peek at the top 7 trends this year.

Be bold and colorful. Bright colors are back in a big way. They draw attention to you and say “I am confident.
Whether choosing one-piece swimwear or a bikini, go for a mix of bright pinks, yellows, blues and the like.

Patterns set the tone. Aztec print or geometric designs? Busy swimsuits place the emphasis everywhere and nowhere at the same time. Another pattern trend is cutout suits. These suits leave large geometric openings in the fabric down the center, on the side, and in the back, feeling like you’re wearing abstract art.

Ruffle accents. Ruffles add a bit of flirtacious style to swimwear. Big girls want to have a sexy look while still feeling all girly and cute, too. Ruffles on skirted bottoms can give hips a little curvy fun while still offering some concealing tricks. Around the neckline ruffles can enhance a smaller bust.

The plunging neckline. Remember old Hollywood and the bathing suits they wore by the pool? They were more for beauty than swimming. Large hats, sunglasses and a halter-type swimsuit that made the waist look smaller and the cleavage more noticeable is the new look for this season. One-piece swimsuits with those long silhouettes are making a comeback.

Earth tones. Swimwear in muted tones that match skin tones are another trend this year. It is the minimalist look. With muted earth tones being so subtle, you’ll often see ruffles, side ties, pleats and other accents to add style and flare.

50′s Retro look. This is the 50s kind of look that includes splashy polka dots and gingham, thin straps and full coverage. This will include full boy-cut bottoms and built up bra tops. Picture Marilyn Monroe in “Some Like It Hot.”

One shoulder. Show your glamourous side with one shoulder strap swimwear. Whether one-piece or two, holding everything up with one strap (thin or wide and stylish) seems to be the way to go. You’ve seen this style more and more in evening gowns this year and now it’s come to swimwear.

What are you wearing this season? Can’t decide? Go ahead and pick one style swimsuit to lounge in and one style to frolic in. These seven fashion trends make swimsuit shopping so exciting, you may have to choose all seven.

Kids and Video Games: The Couch Potato Syndrome

Order Today the Simple Smart Nutrition System

Remember when Atari first hit the market over twenty years ago, everyone, young and old alike, was into video games. It was something new that the family played for hours. Now, video games have become more sophisticated and are played by younger and younger groups of kids. But, even though these games are fun, watch out or your kid will morph into the unyielding vegetable known as the couch potato. You usually gave the old man staring blindly at the television this moniker but it now applies to kids caught up in the video game craze. You’ve weaned them from endless cartoons and cop shows but they’ve traded it in for a console and a joystick. It’s not that video games are bad. They have their redeeming qualities just like television. The name of the game here is moderation.

Even if you don’t know an elf lord from a troll prince you can make sure that is not the only thing your kid knows about. Video games are a way for your kids to relax but not the only way. Engage your children in other activities (preferably outside) to break the couch potato cycle. Endless video game playing has added to the sedentary lifestyle of today’s youth. Instead of playing outdoors with balls and bats they are inside sitting comfortably on the couch or one of those gaming chairs and signing on for virtual worlds unknown to most parents. It scares you because you no longer understand the world of video gaming.

Obesity is now an epidemic with our kids. They lack proper daily exercise to keep their weight under control. By exercise, we mean movement. Kids exercise more than you think. Walking to and from school or dancing to their iPod tunes keeps the body active enough to burn excess calories. They don’t even have to play a sport to get what they need to stay healthy. Video games are mostly played sitting down. That’s how they were designed. Think of it like an office job. Computers were designed to be used sitting down. It’s a necessary evil but it doesn’t have to ruin your health. One solution is a set schedule for their afternoon. When your kids get home from school, let them know the order of the day. First, they can tackle chores. After energizing them again, lead them to the homework table. What do you know; it’s now time for dinner. After dinner, they have a choice of television or video games. All of the other important things are done so they can relax and unwind with either but not both. This limits their time to one or at most two hours of gaming a day as their last activity before bed. After all of the other stuff you’ve given them to do, they might just fall into bed early.

Break the couch potato cycle with a limit on video games and other creative ideas.

Plus Size Women Deserve Great Swimwear

There are many beautiful women in the world just waiting to enjoy the beaches and pools this summer. And, guess what? They are not all a size 4. In fact, the average woman is a size 14, and full of curves. The women you typically see on television or on billboards modeling clothing, especially swimwear, are about a size 0. It took some time, but clothing manufacturers have finally decided to take a page out of the Real Woman handbook and create daring, bold swimsuit styles for women of all shapes and sizes.

Where to Shop

Your average department store may carry swimwear up to a size18. However, for women who are fuller figured, stores like Lane Bryant and Catherines offer swimwear that will actually fit those womanly curves. These stores and others like them will have a much greater variety of swimsuits than the routine department store. Online stores have become very popular for plus size shoppers. If you do shop online, measure yourself carefully to be sure you are choosing the right size when you order.

You no longer have to choose some frumpy, shapeless style that plus size women were forced to buy years ago. Today’s suits are bold, colorful, and shapely. You can find swimwear today for lounging by the pool, swimming, or getting active. You can be proud to wear a bathing suit that finally shows off your curvaceous figure.

What to Buy

So, what are you going to pick out? For women with larger bottoms, try a skirted swimsuit. They can be quite stylish and flirty while still covering your upper thighs and your hips. Choosing a darker color gives your bottom a smoother profile and appearance.

For women with larger breasts, you can wear a one-piece with thicker straps for support. Try to find swimsuits that contain a full bra instead of simply a shelf bra so you know you are covered from every angle and well supported. Swimsuits with the V-shape neckline accentuate your cleavage and give you the look of a halter top.

Many plus size swimsuits come with different methods of support. For instance you can buy swimsuits that contain panels and special material that are designed to lift the buttocks or flatten the tummy. They suck you in, in the right places, making you look deliciously sexy and stunning.

Go for bold color where you want to draw the eye. Using color to your advantage, you can show off your legs or your bosom, or whatever your want. Choose a plus size swimsuit that is bright, drapey, fluttery, and flirty in all the right places, either on the top or the bottom depending on your figure, and draw attention to your best features.

Most importantly, choose a suit that FITS! Wearing a swimsuit that is too small for you because you don’t want to shop in the plus size section is a swimsuit disaster waiting to happen. There is nothing more appealing than seeing a woman who looks confident in what she’s wearing – especially a swimsuit. And when your swimsuit fits properly, you will feel confident.

Whoever said that plus size women had to look frumpy in their swimwear is sadly mistaken. Every woman can look beautiful in a swimsuit built for her size and shape, especially a woman as wonderfully curvaceous as you!

Choose The Best Swimsuit For Your Body

Everyone wants to look their best when they hit the beach or pool. Before you set out, you want to make sure that your swimsuit fits well and is flattering to your figure. But, no two bodies are alike so how do we all find a swimsuit to fit and flatter us? It would be so much easier for the swimsuit manufacturers if everyone was shaped the same. But variety is the spice of life and the market has spoken. Once upon a time, swimsuits were basically one-size-fits-all. Then, the public cried out for variety and style… and fit! We demanded it and now swimsuit manufacturers want to meet the demand. The good news is that no matter what your shape, there is a swimsuit that will cover the areas you want to cover while accentuating your positive features. But, you will have to do the legwork and also know which body-type best describes you.

Pear shape – Pears are bigger on the bottom. If you have an ample bottom, you can minimize it with a swimsuit bottom that has a fuller fit, like a swimming skirt. It hides your bottom and adds a bit of style and flare to the suit, and your look.

Large bust – Some women have what you might call a full bosom. When it comes to a swimsuit, it can be a struggle to keep ‘the girls’ concealed. For those women, suits with wide straps and well designed, solid cups will evenly distribute the weight of the breasts to keep straps from digging into the shoulders and provide support needed.

Heavy legs – The thighs are often a problematic area, even for women who aren’t overweight. If you feel self-conscious about your thighs, you might want to opt for a flirty skirted bottom. Also, wearing a bottom that sits high up on the leg, a higher leg cut, can make your legs appear longer and leaner.

Belly bulge – Most women fret about their belly fat and muffin top. A one-piece swimsuit in a dark color is slenderizing. If you prefer a two piece swimsuit, choose a “tankini” which is a two-piece suit with a longer top. This gives you the freedom of a two-piece but still covers your belly. There are also suits with built in tummy panels and suits that have gathering through the tummy to disguise a thicker waist.

Small bust – Built in padding will help fill out a small bust and extra flounces and gathered fabric will fool the eye. Avoid plunging necklines that can show gaps in the material. Stick to higher necklines and draw attention away by enhancing other attributes like your long legs.

Now that you’ve found the perfect swimsuit, where are you headed this summer? Whether you’re off to the beach or the pool, look your best in a swimsuit that fits, and flatters, your unique body type.
